Crackdown against Dengue launched in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The district administration on Monday arrested 16 shopkeepers for storing tryes in open grounds after it launched crackdown against dengue virus. The tyres were confiscated and burnt down to kill dengue larva.

Crackdown was launched after over 800 patients were affected by the dengue mosquito in Peshawar while eleven have died. Health Teams from Punjab led by its health minister has arrived Peshawar to help the provincial government control dengue.
