Flood Control Room Set Up In Peshawar
PESHAWAR: The district administration of Peshawar has set up a control room to deal with the expected floods after heavy rains which will be functional round the clock.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Saqib Raza Aslam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Fayaz Sherpao along with his team visited Charsadda Road, Budhni Pull, Kohat Road and Batatal on Wednesday. They directed the concerned staff to keep an eye on water level in nullahs and inform the control room in case of any emergency situation.
The district administration also asked the people to contact on phone number: 091-9222520 in case of any emergency. The control room has been established after the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued flood warning after heavy rains in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
